We are the company Varibike and present the Rehab bike here.
And that's how it all began. We have been developing and producing Varibikes since 2011. These are powered by arms and legs. We originally developed the Varibikes for ambitious hobby and competitive athletes. More and more people with disability and Handicap were interested in our Varibikes. It soon became apparent that an arm and leg crank bike had particular advantages for disabled people. Disabled people can compensate for a lack of leg strength through the arm crank drive. What's more, disabled people can train their bodies much more comprehensively. The more arms and legs are driven, the better for the cardiovascular system, fitness and coordination.
That is why we have created the rehab bike especially for disabled people and people with handicaps. The rehab bike is a Varibike with handicapped-accessible equipment. On our rehab bike homepage we focus on the possible uses of the rehab bike for people with disabilities. We also show which equipment is useful for which handicap. It gives us great pleasure when we can help disabled people. With a rehab bike they can finally ride a bike again.
